Pearls of the Blue Coast and of Provence

Description of offer

Day 1: Nice

You will arrive at your hotel in the city center and from here we will start our tour starting from the famous Place Massena located near Promenade du Pallion. This square was recently refurbished and gives life to a large and spectacular space full of history, characterized above all by 7 pillars 7 modern works by the artist Jaume Plensa. The square is enclosed by arcades with bars, restaurants and luxury shops.
In the evening the atmosphere becomes magical thanks to the fountains of Promenade du Pallion. Walking along this large street you can find a second square that has to be observed in every detail: Place Garibaldi is decorated with fountains with stunning water features. The old town center of Nice is quaint, with narrow streets, craft shops and restaurants where you can taste traditional French cuisine.
If you go to Nice, of course, you can not miss the castle. It is on a hill that divides the city into two parts and overlooks directly the seafront. To make the most of the landscape you can climb the outdoor stairway, but you can also use an elevator that will lead directly to the top.

Day 2: Montecarlo

Departing from the hotel we will head towards Montecarlo, a small town that is part of the autonomous state of Monaco. In Montecarlo the Palazzo dei Principi, known for the changing of the guard gives importance to the city making it famous all over the world. Built in 1191 as a Genoese fortress it became the residence of the Prince of Monaco. Fabulous Renaissance-style harmonic constructions will leave you breathless for their majesty and elegance.
Another unforgettable show is the Japanese garden of Montecarlo that offers a special experience of nature, an Asian-style garden that leads to a different environment from the ordinary.
Just 10 minutes from the Japanese Garden, on the top of Monte Carlo, overlooking the sea, stands the Oceanographic Museum, which houses aquariums with species of all kinds and museums related to the marine theme and not only, in short, a museum to be discovered!

Day 3: Grasse and Saint-Paul de Vence

Departure from the hotel in the morning to head for the perfumes of Grasse, a small town in the Provence located on the hills, a few km from the sea of the Côte d'Azur with the Prealps behind. Grasse is known for its "Fragonarde" perfumeries, and is the world capital of perfumes.
Surrounded by romantic expanses of lavender fields, it offers a show of scents and colors as immersive as the fragrances that are produced here since the sixteenth century.
Remaining in this magical atmosphere, our attention will then move to a small medieval village named Saint Paul De Vence, built in antiquity on the cliff to placate the Saracen attacks.
Among its streets, stairways, fountains and squares, you will find corners of pure poetry.
It is a place of pleasant relaxation and home to many artists, painters and intellectuals inspired by the beauty of this village.

Day 4: Lerins Island

Departure from the hotel in the morning to discover the Lerins Islands, archipelago of the French Riviera, located 20 minutes from the port of Cannes.
These islands offer an unspoiled nature made of majestic pine forests, the oldest Eucalyptus plants in Europe, and a significant wealth of fauna.
After arriving you will immerse yourself in a relaxing atmosphere, then we will continue towards the fortress, which contains characteristic museums.
A botanical trail will take you into a parallel wild world, protected by a nature reserve.
